It has become increasingly apparent that the Commissioners and County government do not think the people of the County (mostly Kent Islander's)  should have a voice in the way the Island is being managed.  This goes for both the Wal-Mart project and Four Seasons.  The County and Commissioners have always viewed Kent Island non-favorably in my opinion.  Although, they don't have any difficulty taking our tax money.  I can not believe the petition for the referendum was turned down.  The fact that our voice is not going to be heard on this matter is appalling.  I thought this was a government by the people, for the people.
