Two pieces of pending legislation in the current session of the Maryland General Assembly have been brought to our attention. We are passing them along for your review due to their relevance to quality of life and environmental issues.Links to information on each issue at the State's website and a brief excerpt are provided below.

 House Bill 1178  relates to the Queen Anne's County State's Attorney.   See below for link & synopsis.  It was approved in the House on March 15 with a vote of 132-0 and forwarded to the Senate.

It is scheduled for a hearing on this Tuesday, March 27.  Comments should be forwarded by Tuesday to :
