Dear Mark: I was very disappointed with the ruling switch by Judge Sause. It seems that under the present situation that we, the residents of Queen Anne's County do not have the rights to determine the quality of our own community. The primary purpose of having representatives in a government is to work together for the good of everyone's interests. There is a place in this county for a huge warehouse type store. It goes where the unsightly cannot be seen. There is a profitable use for the property at the Kent Commons site. It is up to the developers to determine one that compliments the location. In the mean time, the county ordinances are inadequate to ensure anyone's rights. Would you be willing to assist us with moratorium legislation to provide a stopgap measure? This is something which will benefit all parties involved. Everyone needs to cool off this issue and try to look a few years into the future to envision a win-win solution to everyone's needs. Stan Ruddie
