From: http://www.kentislandnews.com/?p=22 County Commissioners Vote for Fast Track Sewers on Development Projects with under 120 Units Contributed by Loren M. Bakerposted @ 2:18 pm in [ Local News - Politics ] The Queen Annes County Commission Board voted 3-2, with Ransom and Koval objecting, to approve fast track sewer approvals for all large non-growth area projects under 120 units. Developers who do projects
under 120 units in the non-growth area now have automatic approval from
the Sanitary Commission. The pro-growth majority claimed this was a correction
of a typographical error (TYPO).
Quimby feels that the correct number should be 120. EDITOR'S NOTE : Wait a moment here, I try not to get too political here on Kent Island News, but this statement is a bit ridiculous. If Quimby had claimed that the 120 lot /50 lot difference was a mathematical error, such an excuse may be believeable. But a TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR?? How can you explain someone intending to type the number 50, but instead typing the number 120. There is no comparison between the two. Maybe if the two numbers were 50 and 60, then, yes, there may have been a typographical error at fault, but 50 and 120?!? Come on...
